Afternoon

15.00 At Beit Iba were only a few cars which passed at a reasonable pace. At the two turnstiles were 50-60 people the whole time and it took about half an hour. The other line also worked properly but now and again the soldier checking decided  that young men and fathers had to go through the turnstile. But the children started crying and after a short discussion the merciful soldier let the whole family through. A rather elderly woman carrying a babyinfo-icon came from the place where those leaving Nablus come (the passage was completely open and she was not bothering anyone).  But the soldier made her go the whole way back so as to get to the right line. The desire for order overcame the possibility of meaning merciful and he was not.

By the way the unpleasant commander for those who read yesterday's report who chased Rina and Sara away has been replaced at the request of the DCO who was attentive. When we came at the changing of the shift there was a very polite commander who carried out his duties with no unnecessary delays. But as we know this checkpoint is completely unnecessary. The soldiers are reservists who do not enjoy their work.

16.45 We left.
