Jubara checkpoint

13:25 - Irritating rain and it's coooold. At the children's gate there just a few wet soldiers. A-ras under heavy rain. about 4-5 cars are awaiting in the entry queue. Amit goes out to find out if there is a detainee, and all of a sudden the dreadful Mrs Rika appears, waving the instruction page of the women of Blue-White, and convinces the soldires to summon the police, swearing and lecturing. There is a non- specific alert and therefore the inspection is slow. A cab driver who talks to us is punished by a second inpection. 13:57 Anabta. At the entrance a lorry loaded with flour is delayed because of permits which are unfamiliar to the soldiers. At the exit there are about 15 vehicles waiting. Traffic is flowing. We inform the Centre about the delayed lorry. Beit Lid - A sudden road block because of a non-specific alert. An  apartness - only Tulkarm residents are allowed through. A  long queue from the direction of Beit Iba. A cab driver from the village Burka is desperately stuck. He has no way of getting home. We approached the Centre about his case. While dealing with it, a policeman who was present there barks at us -  I am the 'landlord' here. Take your car and scram!  15:50 Jit  -No road block.
