Observers: R. H., J. W., R. W.

Pishpash - 2:15 - no soldiers or border police to be seen.

Container - total closureinfo-icon - no traffic in either direction. We
called Moked, and after a short while, the taxi was allowed
through. Also allowed through were a couple of trucks carrying
vegetables. A young Italian woman, B., from Terres des Hommes
accompanied a truck with milk and food for Yatta, which was not
allowed through. We spoke to the person in charge at the checkpoint
who was totally unyielding. We then spoke to a pleasant reservist
who spoke Arabic, but would not budge an inch.

We called the Moked and also the DCO. For more than an hour, we
were on the phone trying to get the truck through, as well as
another truck with medical supplies for a hospital in Bethlehem.
