16:00:An hour before the break of the Ramadan fast, that started
yesterday. It was somewhat surrealistic to see the Palestinians
walking around dressed in holiday-white clothes with cakes from the
bakery "on the other side of the wall" - as some of them
told us - and yet the soldiers are there, stopping them on the way,
the wind is nearly blowing everybody over and they still need to
climb over the wall.

A group of 4 border police soldiers was standing near the
station behaving politely and even nicely to the Palestinians.
During the time we were there the flow of people jumping the wall
in the soldiers' sight seemed to increase, but they did not seem to
mind. But another group of border policemen settled on the
"other" side of the fence, and caught every person that
jumped the wall -- but let them go after a short while. At some
point they confiscated the keys of a van for some unclear reason.
It seemed not to trouble the Palestinian owner, who said he has
many spare keys.

We heard that this morning a Bulldozer demolished the
Kitchen of the Hotel, in preparation for the wall.
