We went directly to Qalandya, passing
by Ar-ram checkpoint. It looked very quiet, no detaineesinfo-icon, and no
queues of cars, nor of pedestrians.

When we arrived at Qalandya south at 16.15, we found about 30 men
gathering near the junction. They all tried to bypass through the
quarry (tora bora), and their ID's were confiscated. They were
waiting for at least an hour. Most of them were on their way from
Ramallah (work) to Hizme (home). We asked the soldiers about the
ID's, and soon after they were returned, and all men were allowed
to go home, not returned to Ramallah as is the usual procedure. It
did not look as if the ID's were checked at all, they just were
kept for some time in order to punish the detainees.

At the checkpoint - Qalandya north, there are very few pedestrians.
because of the closureinfo-icon? Most of them were let through. There were
long lines of cars on both directions. resulting from the chaos in
the junction? A young man with a certificate of the Red Crescent,
wants to go to Ar-ram; he is working there as a social worker. We
ask the soldier to help, and he shows us that the card is forged,
by computer scanning.

When we left at 17.45, we heard a single shot, from the airport
(?). We stayed for some time, but there was no more shooting.
