Huwarra, 9:15-10:30. Very scarce
movement. Some students who want to register for their studies are
not allowed to pass. Soldiers say that shops and institutions are
closed in Nablus because of the military activity there. We manage
to help in few cases. A Palestinian driver with Israeli ID was
detained for carrying passengers with a Palestinian ID -- his
parents-in-law). The soldiers wanted to tie him to a pillar, but he
pleaded "Do everything you want but do not humiliate
me".

Tapuach Junction, 10:30-11:30. Around 30 men from Nablus (they
passed Huwwara) were waiting for 1 and a half hour to be checked.
The commander claimed that we cannot stay at this crossroad because
it is a closed military area, but we managed to get on speaking
terms with him, and our presence speeded up ID checking. We left
after last men received their ID.
