The morning after the terrorist attack
on bus line 2 in Jerusalem. Total closureinfo-icon was imposed.

Al Khadr, 06:30: No army presence. Pedestrians crossing in both
directions. No buses, but we saw a yellow taxi and a Palestinian
plate truck on route 60. Then, a military jeep appeared, acting
Rambo style, and checked IDs. A few minutes later, as suddenly as
they had appeared, they disappeared.

Etzion: Many soldiers at checkpoint. Cars only with permits
allowed. 2 Palestinians detained for taking Palestinians without
permits in their van. The soldiers did not allow us to stand close
and did not agree to return the IDs without the usual punishment --
several hours of waiting.

Checkpoint 300: Very few pedestrians and almost no vehicles. Many,
many border policemen, even inside Tantur. They told us nobody is
let in.
