At the Gas Station, two BP jeeps and
three detaineesinfo-icon (for having tried to climb the wall). One tells us
he is sick, he lives on the other side of the wall and wants to go
home. He and the others are already waiting an hour. An aggressive
and rude BP forbids us talking to the detainees and taking
pictures. Her superior refuses to talk to us and forbids us to talk
to the detainees. "When we release them, you can ask them
whatever you like". The position atop the station that was not
used for a long time, is manned again. Along the wall, people are
climbing or jumping down, unhindered by the soldiers. When we come
back later, the three detainees are gone, but seven new ones took
their place. Our arrival prompts the soldiers to start checking and
releasing the detainees. The upper gate is open, and no BPs are in
sight. A young tells us that in the morning the BPs let only blue
ID card bearers pass, and detained all the others for 3
hours.

At the Container, in Wadi Nar, we found 15 detainees sitting by the
side of the road. They were not checked. As soon as we arrived, the
BPs started checking and releasing. Palestinian taxis and transits
were randomly stopped and checked. Some were allowed to pass, as
were pedestrians. Cars going to Abu Dis are allowed to pass freely.
A passenger in one of them tells us that a Palestinian road block
is checking all cars going to Israel (Hudna!).
