Qalandya south: People could pass
freely. When we arrived there were only few cars waiting to pass.
When we came back later, the line was very long.

Qalandya north: Very strict checking. Not many people are trying to
pass. People without permits are unkindly requested to go back. Two
female students asked to go to a test in Abu Dis. After long
negotiations with the soldiers, they chose to leave their ID with
the soldiers, and went through. Hopefully they will get it back
upon return. Many soldiers there today - three volunteers - one of
them very vulgar and unpleasant, two female soldiers - one of them
very vulgar and unpleasant, three or four male soldiers and one
officer, who was relatively polite and not as arrogant as his
soldiers towards Palestinians.
