Abu-Dis

We arrived at Abu Dis and not one
border patrol person was in sight. The gate at the top was closed
with huge cement blocks and people were jumping over the wall on
the right-hand side where there was a small opening. Exactly the
same routine that had been used at the bottom of the hill but just
a little more dangerous. We spoke with a bakery owner and he told
us that at Wadi Nara things were moving slowly but nonetheless
moving. Some soldiers at the round-about near the gas station but
there also people and transportation moving.
