Abu-Dis. 09:00 The gate on the hill
left of the petrol station is no longer open. A concrete block was
placed in front of it on Thursday evening, by order of the blue
police (or the municipality -- but not the BP or army, according to
them). People made their way by climbing over the blocks, including
families with babies. But almost no one was to be seen around. The
transit drivers said that there is a complete and total closureinfo-icon
since Wednesday's suicide bombing.

Sawahre, 10:00. The kiosk checkpoint was open, but only ambulances
were allowed through, not even trucks carrying food and medicines.
Last time that such closure was imposed, people from Abbadiya who
happened to be on the other side were allowed at the beginning to
return home, but now, many people had been kept away from home for
already two days. Only one car and a truck travelled the Wadi Nar
road around 11:30. Just before we left, suddenly 4 women arrived,
trying to pass. They were refused and went back.
