There were no lines at Ar-Ram and no detainees.Qalandiya: When we reached Qalandiya we found a large crowd of about 100 men standing in the area before the carousels. The sleeves within the CP were almost empty. The “gate keeper” was playing “cat and mouse”, trapping in the carousel the men who tried to by-pass the wait by taking the women’s line. We made a number of telephone calls (Ophir, etc.) after which the carousels opened and the men began to pass through. Danny from the DCO arrived and the flow of people continued until the lines disappeared. Afterwards we saw no more lines until the end of our shift.
