(reporting)14:45 – At the Beithlehem checkpoint no one is allowed to enter, thereare many policemen, buses and in the area many ultra-orthodox. We passedthe police who signed to us that we could not go in so we stopped to askthem why. They told us that there was a gathering at Rachel’s tomb inmemory of her yahrzeit. Did you know?14.55 – At the Ezyon crossroads there was a border police jeep but not detainees.15.00 – At the DCO a stink at the entrance and next to the open window afew people whose affairs were dealt with quickly.15.30 – Al-Khadr No military or police presence but many taxis and buses.We went to the other side of the checkpoint, new roads and under acolourful cover a new café.16.00 – Beit Jalla not much movement which passes steadily.16.10 – Back to Jerusalem through the Walleja.
