Morning

Sansana-Meitar CP
Arrived at 6:30, there were about 700 people waiting in the sheds. According to both the Palestinians and Yehuda, the deputy manager, the passage was opened only at about 5.30.
The delay was caused due to a problem in the workers’ transportation, and a complaint has already been issued by the deputy manager.
The delay caused some troubles among the Palestinians, and most of them were quite embittered, especially because of the cold and the fact they have to take off their coats and shoes to be checked.
We told Yehuda that one of his workers exhibited a somewhat twisted (and humiliating) sense of humor towards the Palestinians and he promised to look into the matter. When this worker was replaced by another (unconnected with our complaint), matters improved, and by 7:30 there were only about 50 Palestinians left waiting. The Palestinians we talked to said that yesterday and the day before the passage was o.k.

We were told that now Palestinians are allowed to bring their cans of drinking water but not coffee, sugar or cream. We were told that the electronic device isn’t able to check such items.
