Heavy rain and cold.E-Ram: Palestinians were passing quickly with easy ID checking. No detaineesinfo-icon. One Transit driver got a bill for 500 NIS for parking in the wrong place (according to the soldiers). Sunny 2000 very muddy. One jeep was down on the road, and another jeep on top that took ten orange/green ID's from people to check and then sent the people back to Qalandya.Tora Bora very crowded both ways with taxis and transits.Qalandya: There was no checking going north. At the checkpoint going south, there were three volunteers and seven soldiers. They checked the ID's quickly. Suddenly one soldier took all ID's (all colors, and all permits) from the Palestinians going north. We got different explanations from the soldiers about what was happening: One version: "Even if they have all permissions, it doesn't mean that they didn't kill someone in Israel!" 2. "It is just a regular checking." 3. They evaded the checkpoint to south, did what they did in Israel, and now are coming back." All together there where around hundred detainees, released after half an hour. One volunteer tried to provoke us in a very sarcastic way. Another documented his shift and us with his camerainfo-icon.The transit driver on the way back wouldn't let us pay. He admires our work and is looking for more connection with us.Back at E-Ram , there was a long, long line of cars, waiting one hour to pass.
