Again we arrived too late. It seemed that all the bad things happen earlier on Saturdays. We were told by locals that a bus with Sawahre people was checked and 60 people with “wrong” ID’s were taken out of the bus, kept for 1 hr in heavy rain and then forced to go back through this terrible wall passage. We were met by a group of bitter men telling us that our presence is worthless. We did not have time to go to Wadi Nar but we were told by different people that we should go to Bab el Jamea (The Gate to the University), that soldiers are there and that this is a place for our presence. One can go there by a short ride with transits standing on the East side of the wall by the mosque. Next Saturday we will split from the beginning and will cover Kalandia and Abu Dis more efficiently.
