On the way to the wall next to the roundabout there were 3 border police checking cars going from Jerusalem and causing a long line of cars. One of them wrote the numbers of the id's even though they were all blue id's. When we asked them why do you check here - 300 meters before the dead end? an officer who showed up in a jeep said: occupation for the police!Near the wall, we talked to the transit drivers who told us that now they take only passangers with blue id and actually became "part of the Border Police". as they put it. Many people walked part of the way or all the way from Jerusalem.It was still holiday yesterday and closure as well. Nevertheless, people kept climbing the wall in both directions. The gate at the university was open but few poeple used it.Every now and then, some B.P. would show up and say: today there is a closure. Where are you going? They would check some poeple, but nobody was detained or stopped.
