A very busy atmosphere with traffic but movement only one way- to Jerusalem. On the one hand a friendly(?) group of soldiers, not delaying people too much and standing by as people jump to the other side of the "cement blocks" which has now become a feat for physically agile and fit people because they dug out the area next to the block and one has to jump harder. Why?We walked towards the university and met students. We noticed a new roadblock next to the entrance to the mosque which cuts off the rest of the village from Jerusalem. The soldiers gave us a story about roadblocks that fell on the street, that they shouldn't be there and that they are waiting for a bulldozer to clear them away.
