E-Ram very crowded with pedestrians and cars. At 6.30 cars waited already around half an hour.Sunny 2000 no soldiers, no jeep.Qalandya south and Tora Bora 20 soldiers from different units, messed between themselves, checked cars and pedestrians all over the junction, without connection to the checkpoint. One of them filmed with a private video camerainfo-icon. At the checkpoint one volunteer and three soldiers. Seven Palestinians with green/orange ID's detained. Five of them tried to avoid the checkpoint, two didn't want to go south, but didn't had any permission. The soldiers refused to cooperate with us to release them faster. It was freezing cold and the ground was wet. The soldiers ordered five of them to sit down!! After we saw that nothing happened we called the commander. He was very helpful and arranged by phone calls that the detaineesinfo-icon got their ID's back and were sent home. All together this event took 1 1/4 hour.First time we realized that the soldiers demanded work permission and insurance also from people who wished to go to Ramallah. They yelled at the people who didn't had those permissions and let them pass with threatening: "It's the last time we let you in !!"
