The checkpoint is clear of residents. 5 border policemen, 1 resrevist, and a few nachal soldiers inside. We heard that there is no curfew in town so far, and a bus full of tourist coming out was the only sign of life.El Khadr: again, no soldiers but people say that they are there earlier in the morning, around 6:00. This checkpoint is the least arranged of them all, mud everywhere, difficult pass for those who carry heavy weight. We talk to some men who work at har-choma, heading home, to hebron. they say that it takes them 3.5 hours each direction: including 6 different checkpoints, 10 km on foot, on a bus from El Khadr to har-choma and back at the end of each day. It is also colder here than in jerusalem.
