When we arrived, there were 4 male Palestinians, detained besides the main checkpoint. Entrance through the Mosque: when we arrived, nobody was checked. Five minutes later, a border police jeep (No. 22539) arrived blocking the street and 3 border policemen and 1 border policewoman, started checking everybody. One of the soldiers ordered us to stand at least 30 m away. Cement blocks added by the Mosque and blocking the College. Free movemnt of children getting to school.Besides the main checkpoint: 2 border policemen jeep: one near and the other, up the hill. Policemen took i.d. cards (blue, orange and green), apparently for checking (though no checking done). They were returned after approximately 15 minutes. We asked who can pass. The answer was:"There is no crossing here. Only through A-Zaim and Maale Adumim". This was not true, since people with orange cards were let in, and others, though with papers showing there are lectures at the Al Quds University, were made to return, with the border policemen shouting at them "Home, home!". (Habaita, habaita).
