We arrived rather early to the checkpoint of E-Ram .It was very crowded Passage is smooth for pedestrians but not for cars. Same situation at Qalandya. Even though the pedestrians line was long, it moved smoothly. There were long rows of cars beeping their horns to no avail since the line didn't move (5 soldiers, butonly one woman soldier checking cars in both sides of the checkpoint.People crossing the checkpoint told us more than once that things are smoothwhen we are there. It is not so in the mornings or when we are not present: We took a taxi to Jaba'a ,no checkpoint there.Around 17.00 Qalandya is empty from pedestrians. The car row is still longE-Ram is quite empty .On our way back the road was completely empty.
