Afternoon

The situation at of all three checkpoints of Issawiya remains pretty much the same.  At the Mt. Scopus exit from the area, the tape across the road has been removed as have one or two of the concrete impediments, so there was room for a motorcycle to get through.  Indeed, while we were there, a motorcycle did go through.  However, the area is still closed to cars.

The other two exits – to French Hill and to the Maaleh Adumim road are unchanged.

Things were rather quiet at Anata.  Vehicles went to and fro with no observable problem.

Azariah was also quite quiet.  Building around what’s left of the Bedouin encampment en route to Wadi Naar continues, and at Wadi Naar, there was almost no traffic at all.  Whether this is due to the current wave of violence or to restrictions, we have no way of knowing.
