Morning

06:00 – Barta'a Reihan Checkpoint

Men are sitting on the curb among the cars as usual waiting for their rides, looking for a shady spot.  The kiosk belonging to the settler is filled with people "breaking the fast".  He has, of course, received a business permit.  We asked what is happening with the women.  We were told that they arrive early in the morning and get back in time to prepare the holiday meal.

06:40 – A'anin Checkpoint

The checkpoint opened in time and we met a few farmers who had already crossed.  Only a few people crossed: a father with his three sons and his elderly mother, and a few other men.

07:05 – Shaked – Tura Checkpoint

The entire area around the road, the shed, and the checkpoint is filthy.   The area is filled with plastic containers and garbage and is ugly and repulsive.  Soldiers are checking cars meticulously.  Traffic is only moving towards the seamline zone.  The hours of the checkpoint have been changed.  It is now open until 12:30 and then until midnight.

Happy Ramadan.
