Afternoon

Jurish, Tapuach junction,

We left Rosh Ha’ayin at 14:15 and reached Jurish at 15:00.

At 15:45 an army jeep was parked at Tapuach junction, in the direction of the Jordan Valley.

The girls’ class and the boys’ class awaited us at the municipal building.  We held an English lesson and a yoga class for the boys and the girls separately.  In both classes we continued teaching the topic of family, the family tree and the occupations of various family members.  The boys and girls worked in pairs and presented their results to the class.  We had a lively discussion about the topics.  Since there are large differences within each class in the pupils’ level of knowledge, those more advanced are asked to help the beginners.  We did role playing, the pupils playing fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, etc.

Both yoga classes proceeded in a positive atmosphere and with the full cooperation of the participants.

The girls are particularly excited by the physical activity, except for two who refrain because they’re very religious.

At 17:15 we left with Nadim for Tel Aviv.
