Few passers-through and the CP was operating at a normal pace. Towards the end of our stay, although two lanes were functioning, we noticed that line 4 was long and the  people on line were aggravated:  the girl-soldiers accepted only two people at a time, and after each pair took a 5- or 10-minute break. No wonder that the line grew at this busy hour, when people were hurrying on to the second shift at the Atarot industrial zone. We saw to it that the soldiers would notice our concern - indeed, the "breaks" were ended and the line contracted back to normal within few minutes.
