Afternoon

15:00 Tura-Shaked

It's raining heavily, buckets pouring water from the sky. Two cars are driving towards the West Bank. None are coming from the seamline zone.

Two young men, are waiting, soaking wet, for transportation to Barta'a. We offer them a ride but they decline.

15:20  We leave.

It's still raining heavily. We pick up a worker walking in the rain from the checkpoint at Reihan towards the bridge ,which is blocked on both sides.

15:40  Ya'bed-Dotan

It's raining a little less. Cars are being stopped by a soldier ,who does not really check them. There is much traffic from the seamline zone, people are returning from work. A huge truck with a double load of sand crosses without being stopped.

16:00  We leave.

16:15 Barta'a –Reihan

The parking lot is completely full. Trucks and private cars are parking along the road. We pass through the checkpoint without any problems and park on the upper plot. We descend through the covered sleeveinfo-icon together with large numbers of workers who return from work at this hour. From time to time, lines are formed at the two windows inside the terminal. It takes 2 minutes to check the documents. Few people pass in the direction of the seamline zone.

17:00  We leave.
