Morning

What is new in the circumference of Nablus? The reservists have returned home, the parachutists have returned from Khan Yunes and the squills are resplendent in their bloom.

06:20 Azzun Atma:On the side of the main road, tens of workers are waiting for their employers. There are four active checking posts, and there is almost no queue. The CP was opened at five o'clock and is conducted without disturbances.

Shomron crossing: There is no police at the exit from Israel.

07:00 Za'tara/Tapuah: The border-policemen are on the spot, but do not man the checking posts.

At the entrance to Huwwara there is an IDF vehicle.

The Yitzhar/Burin CPs: There is no military activity.

07:35 Beit Furik:  The CP tower isn't manned. There is no sign of soldiers .

07:40 Awarta:  The yellow arm blocks the passage.

07:45 Huwwara CP: The CP tower isn't manned.

There is a couple of soldiers at the hitch-hiking station and one in the tower opposite them.

In the town of Huwwara the shops are being opened for a routine day of commerce.

At the exit, opposite the entry to Beita, soldiers are checking a taxi driver. They found weapons in the vehicle – a hammer. After a short conversation he was released to go on his way with the hammer.

08:00 Za'tara/Tapuah:The border-policemen have not yet changed their location – in the shade under the tower.

Shomron crossing: The traffic flows.
