Relative to previous times, fewer were crossing today, both pedestrians and vehicles.

Pedestrian crossing was fast, almost everyone passed the turnstile without standing in line.  No one, as far as we saw, was turned back.

The pace of vehicular crossing was different.  The person in charge of the booth was absorbed in his own business and did not always notice the cars.  Crossing was sometimes fast without checking, and sometimes the checking of cars and documents was very thorough.

All in all, it was "a good day".
