Morning

9:00 to 10:50

In the beginning of the shift one window is open and there is a long line of Palestinians – it’s been a long time since there were so many people on a Friday!
Call to headquarters.
Within a minute a policeman comes out and starts to pass people quickly, opening the gate between the windows.
Then a second window opens.
Two boys were sent back: they arrived without permits.
I photographed the people crowding next to the window - one image on my cellphone. Within two seconds, the policeman comes out into the corridor, walks up to me and says:
- You're bothering me, stand outside
- I am from MahasomWatch and I always stand here. I wasn’t bothering you at all.
- If you take photos you are bothering me. Delete the picture and get out right away or I’ll arrest you.
- Explain to me how I bothered you.
- It is posted here that it is forbidden to take pictures. For the last time get out or I’ll arrest you.
- Okay, it’s forbidden to take pictures – I’ll delete the picture.
I stayed and he left. He came out again only to let people pass when the line became longer. Many people passed today.
