Afternoon

15:30 Tura-Shaked checkpoint

At the entrance a pickup truck is parked, which has been returned to the Seam Line zone. The driver wanted to take a window pane to the other side, but it was too large and too thick and therefore it could not be taken across here.

Only a few people cross at this time.

16:20 Barta'a-Rihan checkpoint

The coffee cart has moved to a different location, where more customers can be reach – those going through the sleeveinfo-icon and others who are allowed to be around (security personnel and settlers).

At this time hundreds of people return from work in the Seam Line zone and maybe even from Israel. One of them tells us that this morning passage at the Jalama checkpoint has not gone smoothly.

A small child who comes out of the checkpoint and who is fluent in Hebrew tells us "Kol ha'kavod"  (thanking us for what we've been doing) and that brings smile to our faces in this difficult situation.
