Qalandiya

The rain was heavy, the pedestrian crossing was very long, and the personnel shift change a few minutes after our arrival slowed down the process although after about a quarter of an hour, the lines were moving more efficiently.

The vehicular crossing was crowded but moving.  We did notice that at the traffic circle before the gate, some impatient drivers were going around the circle in the wrong direction, apparently in an effort to move through more quickly.  We would suggest that this situation be monitored.  Perhaps spikes on the road at the circle would stop this effort.
