We arrived at 5 am and there was no one around the checkpoint so we walked through on foot and only met a lone EEAPI woman and we went through the checkpoint. The only complication was that Yaara's phone fell out of the belt.
The soldiers were not busy with their I Phones. Our attempt to help a man to get to work although his figerprints have to be renewed failed and it was interesting to see how one of the soldiers was ready to hear that since the DCO is closed he has to get to work so that the Jews have enough chickens for the holiday (because of the closure there was a shortage!!!!!) he should be allowed. She was overruled by her very made up collegue and a guy with a gun.
