Morning

6:20 Sheikh Saed

Relatively quick passage, no long lines.  The magnometer beeps non-stop but no one seems to care.  Children cross without inspection.

Olive Terminal

There are no long lines.  But in the corridor in which we crossed the soldiers were busy with something, not clear what, and people crossed with never a glance from the soldiers.

At the same time, the turnstile was locked for a long time between crossings.

Anata - Shuafat

The transportation lot is filthier than usual. On the main street, close to the wall, the stench of smoke rising from burning piles of garbage, fills the air a few meters from the elementary school for boys.

The Pedestrian crossing: the turnstile at the entrance to the building is operated by soldiers, and this slows down the crossing considerably.  In the time we were there, two school children were not allowed to cross.

Vehicular crossing: traffic flows.
