15:00 A'aneen checkpoint

The checkpoint is still closed. Would open within half an hour. A few people are already waiting

15:05 Shaked-Tura checkpoint

Two cars await passage. A couple with a babyinfo-icon arrive, they are both teachers and this is their firstborn. They tell us that they are building a new house, not in the location of their choice but according to the building permit they had received.

15:30 A number of students, carrying books, cross into the Seam line zone. We get into a conversation with two soldiers, one of whom is an officer. As usual they are unaware that they are serving in an occupied territory. We have yet to meet a soldier who realizes that he serves on a occupies land. 'This is ours' they say.

15:50  We left.

16:00 Barta'a-Rihan

Many workers return home at this time. Passage is swift and there is no line by the window. Workers, residence of the West Bank who work in Tel Aviv, are forced to cross in the morning through Taibee and in the afternoon through Rihan, despite they're living close to Rihan.

16:20  We left

16:30 We drove back to A'aneen. People who had returned from the olive harvest gather by one of the three gatesinfo-icon to the checkpoint. They cross in groups of 3 at a time. Inspection is quick. The tractor and the wagon go through as well. Cabs are waiting at the lower car park.

16:30 The soldiers hurry up to close the gates.

16:45  We leave.
