14.00 There were no people in the hall. Outside, near the rear entrance an older man was standing. He said he was waiting for his son and his daughter-in-law who were summoned to a GSS interrogation. They arrived in the morning, were brought in but didn’t come out yet. Their two young children remained in their home in Hebron. Their home in Hebron is close to the place where an IDF soldier was shot and killed yesterday. This is probably the reason why they are being interrogated. The father said he has been waiting for them for hours and that he will keep on waiting. He was still waiting when we left. Only at six thirty in the evening they were released.

On the radio they announced that the investigations in Hebron are continuing vigorously. IDF is determined to find the culprit or the culprits. IDF is conducting searches, thoroughly searching and investigating the Palestinians living in homes close to the shooting area.

The Israel Defense Force is not always so determined and energetic. It didn’t show such determination when a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a Palestinian family driving a car on the road near the settlement Bat-Ayin and the father was seriously injured. No thorough investigation was conducted then. Probably the residents of Bat-Ayin living in the homes close to the scene were not interrogated, and if they were questioned, apparently the investigation failed to reveal the culprit or culprits. To this day, they are free. To this day the injured man is unable to work and his family's economic situation isdire.
