Morning
09:30  We go through the Shomron Gate and all seems quiet and normal.
Zat'ara (Tapuach Junction): There are 2 soldiers of the Border Police at the road to and from Nablus. They are only standing and talking with each other.
Huwarra Checkpoint: A car has stopped at the side of the road into Nablus. The hood of the car is open and the driver is obviously fixing something in the motor.
There are soldiers standing at the road to Bracha doing nothing. We can see soldiers in the towers.
Beit Furik checkpoint is empty, as usual. We drove on to enjoy the view of the Beit Dajan valley. When we were last here the entire valley was green. Now we realize that the harvesting of the grains has begun. There are large swaths of yellow and brown were the grain has been cut.
Nadim spoke with a passing taxi driver. The day of the murder of the settler at the Za'atra junction the gate of the road to Beit Dajan had been locked.
But now all was quiet and there were no problems.
At the Jit junction we saw several soldiers sitting on the 'porch' of the tower and talking. Nadim said there was a rumor that Azzoun was again blocked. As we drove by we saw that the road is open.  As we came near Qalqiliya we could see a long line of cars blocked from entering the city. As we came closer we saw that there was also a long line of cars waiting to leave the city. As we drove past the road into the city we could see the reason for the blockage. A large truck had overturned right there at the entrance and a crew of workers was cleaning up the mess. We hope the road was opened quickly.
11:00 We left through the Eliyahu Gate.
