Afternoon

Etzion DCL: at this visit there were a bit more clients. Six Palestinian vehicles were parked on the parking place. In one car a woman with a child seemed to wait. One car was driven away. A man came around the corner from the Shabbak. He did not want to speak to us. He was driven away by a friend.

A soldier let 3 of the waiting people in.

Beit Ummar: On our way back we were first going to Beit Ummar. There were lots of people standing along the right side of the street. We did not stop.

At the checkpoint of Har Homa 3 soldiers were on duty and they were speaking to one another. We could pass without any checking.

Checkpoint 300 – Bethlehem: a lot of male workers and employees on their way to Bethlehem were rushing to the counters, passing them without any control as far we could observe at this part of the huge checkpoint. There might be another check on their way through the checkpoint. Anyway- at it's beginning was none for the outgoing people. For the incoming tourists counter 1 was open. Tourists had to show their passports.
