15:00 Shaked checkpoint

At this time those crossing over on both sides are mostly women and children holding parcels.

A few vehicles cross in both directions. Passage is swift and entrance of vehicles to the inspection post is now controlled by traffic lights.

15:30

At this time traffic at the site increases as laborers cross as well.

15:40 – Rihan checkpoint

The seamstresses worked overtime today and only now return home. 2 windows are open and process the workers quickly.

16:05

During the following hour many workers return from the Seam Line zone on their way to the West Bank but only one window takes care of them. The reason – on Wednesday many college student come from the opposite direction, from Jenin, most of whom with suitcases, and in addition to them there are many families with children returning home from the West Bank.

They let only 10 workers at a time enter into the spacious terminal, while outside by the carousel there is great crowding and congestion.

16:45

We left while the stream of returning workers continued.
