Morning
06:30  Long lines extende into the parking lot.
When we arrived, we tried speaking to the policemen and soldiers on duty but they refused to speak to either us or the Palestinians.   After several futile attempts, however, we succeeded and the commander started to move things along, including the humanitarian lines.  One of the Palestinian men claimed to have been waiting for two hours and we witnessed what can only be described as a mini riot which was very frightening.  A Hebrew speaker spoke to the commander explaining the frustration felt by people in line.
We left at approximately 8am at which point there was a noticeable improvement.
The vehicular crossing was smooth; however, one soldier took our teudot zehut, bringing them to the person in charge.
We do wonder if they are collecting information about the women from Machsom Watch.
