05:10 - there was already a long line of workers out to the car-park. All 5 gates
were open. As time went on, the line got longer especially since there were a number of buses that brought workers to the checkpoint. We spoke with the policeman on duty and were told that they were allowing only 15 people to stand in each of the lines at the five gates at any given time. This slowed up the passage through the check point considerably. After we spoke again to the guard, the soldiers speeded up the process and the lines began to move more quickly.

The Humanitarian Gate was opened at a little after 06:00 and was opened as people arrived.
