Bethlehem (300), Fri 18.5.12, Morning

Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300:  three inspection stations were open.  Most of the time there was no queue, everything was quiet, the people were obedient and took care to come with the required documentation.

As a result of Hannah’s intervention, we were glad to see small children passing through without having to show a permit.

Only one man accompanied by a small child was sent back in the direction of Bethlehem.  It was clear from his reaction that he knew there was no point in trying to argue.  We didn’t manage to clarify the problem with him – probably he had only a work permit.
