Morning

8:45 – 9:15 Shaked-Tura

Most of those crossing over at this time are women and children in dressy attire. A 12 years old boy drags a goat from the trunk of a brown Subaru. The stubborn animal refuses to be dragged by the boy struggles with her pulling her by her ear. When they finally arrive at the center of the checkpoint and all the reserves soldiers and the female military police soldiers, are impressed by the beautiful goat, the driver says that he brought her from the Bedouin village by A'aneen and that she's being taken to be slathered for a big party. "What if she's young? This tastes better", he says.

I pick up little Marie from the Reihan checkpoint to Physical Therapy in Um-el-Phachem and get back within half an hour.

9:45-10:15 Reihan-Barta'a

Many white shiny Vans, waiting for passengers. Men with their belts in their hand come out of the sleeveinfo-icon going up, out of the terminal . women and children in dressy attire cross over into the West Bank. The guards are busy making tea. "All is cool" this morning.

The car park is vacant. Only a few cars go at this time to Jenin. All the guard know and are fond of Marie and she and her father are allowed to walk through in the vehicle's inspection post.
