14.00 About twenty people are waiting next to the turnstile. They complain that for the last hour and a half there hasn’t been any movement – not even one person has been admitted. Apparently the soldiers are having their noon-time rest. About thirty people are waiting inside. We phone to the Humanitarian Center.

14.25 Four men, some women and a small child come out.  

14.35 A woman comes out

14.40 A man and a woman come out

14.45 An elderly man comes out with an entry permit in his hand. He says that he arrived at 13.00

14.50 Two people, who according to them have been waiting since 12.00, come out. The speed at which people come out hasn’t changed. There is no chance that all those waiting will be taken care of by closing time, but we left before then.
