Morning
Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300 (Rachel Crossing), 6:50: many people were outside, inside the hall was full, 5 stations open and crossing was fast.
Ten minutes later we were told that the line at the entrance to the checkpoint had disappeared. "Yesterday and Sunday was dreadful; today is good, very good,"
After we left the checkpoint I stopped at "Rami Levi" to shop. In the produce department one of the workers approached me with a warm and friendly smile as though we were old acquaintances. It turned out he had crossed the checkpoint an hour earlier when I had been there. It was as though he was grateful, knowing we were on the same side of humaneness.
