Afternoon

Etzion DCL, 15:40 pm:  the parking lot was packed with cars. In the waiting room circa 12 men and women (plus some accompanying family members), who had been waiting between 45 and 60 minutes to be received to arrange for papers or renew their magnetic cards. The soldier behind the glass screen was exceptionally kind in responding to our inquiry: apparently inside the office were 20 people, having already served another 20 earlier in the afternoon. By 16:00 all 12 people from the waiting room were allowed in through the turnstile. We left the place at 16:10 as the waiting room remained empty.

Bethlehem Checkpoint 300, 16:27 pm:  workers returning from Israel into Palestine went through  within 15 seconds from one side of the CP to the other.
