Morning

Bethlehem– Checkpoint 300 (Rachel’s Crossing), 06:40 AM:  a flood of people comes towards us and they report that “today is OK, and not like yesterday and the day before”.

There are 5 manned inspection stations, but only 4 are operating.  The traffic flows in and the duration of each inspection is 5-6 seconds. There are no hold-ups and today is calm.

One of the security guards releases two of the female soldiers from the inspection stations. One of them had been on stand-by and later the two who had been released return. These changes do not interfere with the operation of the stations because the Palestinians simply move to a free station.

The transit of the workers is completed at 07:20
