Morning

 Habla .

The first group of five are already outside.  A minute later the second group exits.  A busload of children arrives.  According to the driver , classes will continue for a few more days before summer vacation.  Soldiers enter the bus for a quick check.

07.10 The fourth group exits.  People are pleased today.  Few are waiting to pass – we didn’t understand why.

07.20 We go out. Close to the fence on the ‘Israel’ side there is a cleared space with posts ready for a fence.

07.25  Ma’avar Eliyahu.  There are still 25 workers waiting to pass.  A long line of cars is waiting to enter Israel.

Izbat Tabib.  No news about the fence.

07.50 Falamya farmers’ passage.              Quiet.  Various work vehicles – from tractors to donkeys and bicycles reach the gate.  People get off for a quick search before continuing.

08.30 Return via 'Azzun  On route 55 until Kedumim we did not meet any IDF vehicle. The first Hummer was opposite the bus stop at Kedumim.

08.35  J’it junction completely quiet.

09.00 Pause at Deir Sharaf  The road ascending to Shavei  Shomron is crowded with cars and trucks. A Hummer arrives from the north.

09.25 'Anabta checkpoint.  Passage is free.  The soldiers as usual watch from the tower.

09.35  Te’enim passage.  There is digging by bulldozers near to the house of Abu Hatem outside the fence (i.e., at the entrance to the village G”abra).  Why?  Are they moving the fence?
