Morning

09:45-11:15 am, Bethlehem – Checkpoint 300:   two booths open from each side – essentially, four booths.

No line at all; many people crossed without incident.

No voices were heard from the Palestinian side.

The checkpoint commander suggested that three internationals come through the middle gate. They preferred to cross along with everyone else and show their passport at the booth.

All was quiet and efficient, as if there hadn’t been a closureinfo-icon for the past two weeks.

The men come out holding their belts as usual, or put them back on as they walk.  A Palestinian came through with his two boys (aged 12 and 9).  The boys also put on their belts as they came through.
