13:20 – Tayasir Checkpoint

Cars move in both directions and are called to be checked by the soldiers.  Two soldiers come up to us and tell us that we must adhere to the rules of not enter the checkpoint or take any pictures.  A Palestinian truck drives up with a sign that says: "We have no friends in the world."  When we asked him why he had the sign he said that a friend had conspired against him and that his father had told him to put the sign up.

For the most part cars cross through without delay.  Pedestrians come out of the pedestrian crossing and greet us.

Hamra Checkpoint – 14:30 – 15:15

There are a lot of soldiers at the checkpoint.

An officer and two soldiers ask us what we are doing there.  The officer tells us rudely that we are not to enter the checkpoint or take pictures, "and then get out of here."Soon after that they themselves proceeded to "get out" and we also left.  Cars were going through without delay.

At the Bezek Checkpoint soldiers also asked us where we were from, as usual.
